Vu ja de (Pronounced “voo-zha-day”) is a word coined by Robert Sutton in his book “Weird Ideas that work”.  The term is the opposite of déjà vu and means see things in a different way.  Every organization develops a memory or structure of how thing work and how things are done in that organization.  That memory can be a structural safeguard for quality control or production but can also stifle the creativity of the organization and lead to complacency of what is important to that organization.  Locking paper in a file cabinet with all its inherent knowledge and information is just such an activity that stifles creativity.
